The new academic year started on Monday the pulsating Praveshanolsavam (the reopening of the school). More than 25,000 children were welcomed to class 1. Minister of income K. Rajan officially launched Praveshanolsavam celebrations at the district level at the GVHSS (GVHSS) Puthur.
On this occasion, the Minister stated that the State Public Education System witnessed a new and promising transformation. “The impact of a public education campaign is visible in every school where education now goes beyond the textbooks to touch lives,” he said. He stressed that education must reflect the emotions and needs of people and not only focus on grades or tests, but also on building a well -informed and compassionate society.
The Minister also spoke about development works from 15 GBPs carried out at school in the last nine years, emphasizing the improvement of infrastructure. He said that the school gatherings will be held from the school to the upcoming Pubhur Zoological Park, which will be opened after the Onam Holidays, as a symbol of the involvement of community with education and nature.
The ceremony represented the live screening of the main Minister Pinaayi Vijayan on the inauguration of Praveshanolsavam. Students conducted an official welcome song through dance. Employment students who received LSS, USS and NMS scholarships together with the Thrissurian Native Triloknath, who performed in the International World Records, and Mathematics Teacher at High School as Sarith, who received PhD from the University Calicut University.
Students took the promise of “Clean Kerala” and the district hygienic poster was released as part of Harith Mission. The cultural performance of children added color and joy to the event.
