A former JPMorgan Chase banker who accused a female colleague of forcing him to become her “sex slave” has presented new evidence to support his allegations, including one anonymous friend who claimed he was invited to a threesome.
Chirayu Rana has filed a lawsuit against executive Lorna Hajdini that JPMorgan says is completely fabricated. The suit suddenly reappeared on the Manhattan Supreme Court docket Monday after it was filed and was quickly withdrawn last week.
According to The New York Post, the anonymous witness statements contain details and quotes and describe alleged encounters with Lorna in September 2024.
JPMorgan’s internal probe — which examined emails, records and devices — found no evidence of wrongdoing, multiple sources told The Post.
Lorna Hajdini cooperated fully; Not Chirayu Rana, said the bank.
New evidence
In the new filing, one alleged witness, who The Post said appears to be a family friend of Chirayu Rana, said he was staying at the apartment while visiting New York and was awakened in the middle of the night by the drunken antics of Lorna Hajdini.
The new witness claimed he tried to go back to sleep but was woken up by a “completely naked” Lorna, the filing said.
She sat down on the sofa he was sleeping on, lit a cigarette and began begging him to “join” them in the bedroom, the document alleges. Despite denying it multiple times, the undercover witness claims Lorna told him, “You know I own (redacted), so you better join.
After she returned to the bedroom, he claims he heard Chiraya plead, “No, no, no, you have to leave. I won’t. Please stop.”
Lorna left the apartment later that night, and a stunned Chirayu emerged, sharing his story of how she “constantly harassed him and forced him to engage in sexual behavior with her on numerous occasions,” according to the documentary.
Chirayu reportedly recalled Lorna threatening him with “trouble” if he did not comply and “reiterating her concerns that Hajdini was blackmailing him”.
The statement also claims that we witnessed Lorna being “handy” with Chirayu at a concert for Norwegian DJ Kygo at the Barclay’s Center earlier that month.
He lied about his father’s death
According to The New York Post, Chirayu Rana lied to JP Morgan about his father dying in order to allegedly take nearly three months of paid vacation. He apparently used the time to prepare for the trial against Lorna Hajdini and his employer.
Chirayu informed his superiors in mid-December 2024 of the presumed death of his father Chaitanya and needed time off work to be with his family, sources told The Post.
But when The Post reached Chaitanya Rana on Sunday, he was “alive and well” at the family’s $1.75 million home in Vienna, Virginia. He claimed he knew nothing about the lawsuit.
“I don’t know anything about it. He didn’t talk to us or anything,” Chaitanya Rana told The Post. “He’s my son. He’s a good guy.”
Chirayu reportedly combined various forms of paid leave in addition to the five days of bereavement, sources told The Post. He has reportedly been allowed to work remotely since the fall of 2024, when he first informed the bank’s top management that his father was seriously ill.
He then used up a number of holidays from early March to late May last year, when the initial draft of the complaint was sent to the bank’s legal team, people familiar with the matter said.
