Jerry Pinto discusses palliative care at the Visakhapatnam event

Author, poet and journalist Jerry Pinto spoke about the importance of palliative care during the ‘Meet the Author’ program recently organized by Inorbit Mall Visakhapatnam in association with Rohit Memorial Trust and Crossword Bookstores.

The discussion focused on his latest book, The Good Life: The Power of Palliative Care, where Mr. Pinto highlighted the role of compassionate care in improving the quality of life of people living with serious illness and in supporting their families.

The program was attended by P. Vishnu Kumar Raju, MLA for Visakhapatnam North; Roshni Aparanji Korati, Vice Chairman Visakhapatnam Port Authority; and representatives from the medical, educational and literary communities.

Mr. Pinto also unveiled the poster for the Jeyaraja Rao Memorial Interschool Public Speaking Boot Camp and Competition.
