
David Warner has responded to a fan who asked him to “get out” of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and return to the Indian Premier League (IPL) after his team Karachi Kings were knocked out ahead of the PSL 11 playoffs.Warner took to Instagram after the tournament ended for his team to look back on his team’s campaign. He praised the team for the “passion, resilience and attitude” they showed throughout the season, even though the team couldn’t finish strong.

He also said he hopes to return to full stadiums in the coming seasons.However, one fan commented on the post and suggested that Warner leave the PSL and return to the IPL, saying that the latter would be better for him.“Better for you to quit PSL and come back in IPL,” wrote a fan.Warner responded briefly but clearly, saying he was not considering such a move.“There’s no need for that now,” Warner replied.Karachi Kings, the 2020 champions, were eliminated from PSL 11 after Lahore Qalandars defeated Peshawar Zalmi in the 38th match of the tournament.Karachi Kings have missed out on the playoffs for the fourth time since the start of the league in 2016. They also failed to finish in the top four in three straight seasons from 2022 to 2024.
