
In an effort to ensure good placement with the Indian School of Business (ISB) allegedly turns to the “digital snan”, which is a trend that has gained attention during the Maha Kumbh 2025. The video gaining massive traction on Instagram shows men in Uttar Pradesh’s Sangam.
In the now viral clip, the man is seen by immersing a sheet of paper, carrying photographs of several students in the Holy River and symbolically praying for their successful placement.

‘Digital Snan’
Maha Kumbh 2025, which took place every 12 years, witnessed millions of devotees who immersed the saints in Triveni Sangam. For those who could not participate in person, the concept of “digital snan” appeared.
A man identified as Deepak Goyal even launched a company offering digital scanning. He asked people who could not participate in the Holy Assembly to send their photos via WhatsApp. He then printed the pictures and immersed them in the sacred water within 24 hours of the transaction.
Charging £1 100, Goyal claims to cleanse the souls of distant devotees by immersing the photocopy of his paintings in the holy river.

Video shared on July 24th has since accumulated more than 8.37 views of the Lakhů and evoked a rush of comments online.
The spectators were amused and surprised, especially due to the background of the business school. While some appreciated it as a funny mixture of tradition and modern anxiety, others joked that if they did not reach CVs, prayers could only make a trick.
One user, @anissamalhotrain, noted: “Love how many times has been explained to be blessed only section B.”
The second user, @sibsuuu, with a touch of sarcasm, wrote: “We ask a team of career services YSB to enter and neutralize the unjust strategic advantage this part has received.”
Another user, @saishankar.ramani, joked: “Oops should be done three times … All your packages will be 2/3 of what should be.”
A handful of users joked that the placement of grind is as intense, the students are now turning to holy hacks as digital snan.
