In a series of posts on X as Iran commemorated National Justice Week, Khamenei said the statements by American and Israeli leaders amounted to admissions of guilt and should be used to advance legal cases.

Khamenei calls for legal action

Khamenei said remarks by US and Israeli officials about military operations against Iran strengthened Tehran’s case for seeking justice.

“The admissions and even brazen bragging of some of the leaders of the US-Zionist enemy about these crimes are indisputably an admission of crime and they effectively pave the way for the vindication of the rights of the Iranian people that have been violated.”

He called on the Iranian authorities to address the matter in domestic and international courts.

“Every Victim is a Legal Case”

“The physical and psychological damage inflicted on every individual of the Iranian nation in the second and third forced wars, from the killing of children and war crimes in Minab and Lamerd to the attacks on medical centers, are every legal file that must be addressed in domestic and international courts.”

He added: “From infanticide to our dear elderly population… each file is among thousands of major legal cases that must be seriously addressed in domestic and international courts.”

Iran condemns new US airstrikes

Khamenei’s remarks came hours after Iran’s Foreign Ministry condemned fresh US airstrikes on monitoring and surveillance facilities along the country’s southern coast.

The ministry called the attacks a violation of international law and a recently agreed ceasefire.

Trump advocates military action

US President Donald Trump said on Saturday that US forces had struck Iran’s missile and drone depots, as well as coastal radar facilities, after accusing Tehran of violating the ceasefire.

Trump warned that the United States would respond even more forcefully if Iran continued its actions, saying Washington was ready to “finish the job” if necessary.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed that U.S. forces conducted additional strikes against several Iranian military targets under Trump’s leadership.

The IRGC claims attacks on US military installations

In response, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it had launched a joint missile and drone operation targeting US military infrastructure in Kuwait and Bahrain.

The IRGC said it had destroyed eight US military installations and described the operation as a “decisive response” to what it called a second wave of US attacks on Iranian territory.

The latest exchange underscores the continued escalation between Washington and Tehran despite ongoing diplomatic efforts to preserve a fragile truce.
