Gujarat Titans also boosted their position significantly after their dominant win over Rajasthan Royals earlier in the week and now have an 87.53% chance of making the playoffs.Punjab Kings, despite being fourth with 13 points, continue to project extremely strong as they still have four matches remaining, more than any other top six contenders. PBKS currently qualifies in 84.69% of simulations and still has almost a 50% chance of finishing in the top two.The biggest movement after Sunday’s results occurred in the middle of the table.Chennai Super Kings’ five-wicket win over Lucknow Super Giants dramatically revived their campaign. CSK’s playoff probability has now jumped to 58.47%, making them statistical favorites over Rajasthan Royals despite both teams having 12 points. The difference is largely due to the schedule. Chennai still have games against SRH and GT to go but have already gained momentum with four wins in their last five matches, while Rajasthan’s projections continue to be weighed down by poor recent form and a damaged Net Run Rate after their 77-run defeat to Gujarat.RR now projects with a 54.33% playoff probability: a noticeable drop compared to earlier simulations where they were tracked above 80%.Kolkata Knight Riders remain alive at 19.84%, though they probably need at least three wins from their last four games combined with favorable outside results.Delhi Capitals still maintain weak math runs at 8.41%, but their disastrous -1.154 Net Run Rate continues to heavily hurt qualifying projections in tie scenarios. However, the race is now virtually over for Mumbai Indians and Lucknow Super Giants.

Do you believe Chennai Super Kings can continue their winning streak?
With PBKS in 13th place and the last place in the playoffs at the moment, neither MI nor LSG can surpass or reach level points with PBKS even if they win their remaining matches. With just three league games remaining and several teams already sitting on 12-14 points, the playoff deadline has effectively moved beyond their realistic reach.
