Rishabh Pant has been fined INR 12 thousand after Lucknow Super Giants were found guilty of maintaining a slow overrate during their IPL 2026 clash against Chennai Super Kings at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.As the captain of the franchise, Pant is responsible for the team completing their 20 overs within the stipulated time limit. However, LSG failed to meet the required overage rate during the match, leading to disciplinary action by the IPL Board of Governors.The IPL confirmed that Pant had breached Article 2.22 of the tournament’s code of conduct, which deals with minimum over rates.
