
Sreenarayana Guru Open University (SGOU) and Kerala History Congress are jointly organizing a two-day international seminar to commemorate the intellectual and historiographical contributions of the renowned historian, late Prof. KN Panikkar. The seminar on “The Cultural Logic of Nationalism: Hegemony and Democratic Struggles” will be held on April 28 and 29 in the Seminar Hall of the SGOU academic block. Former minister MA Baby will inaugurate the event and the session will be chaired by SGOU Vice-Chancellor Prof Jagathy Raj VP, with the keynote speech by Prof. Aditya Mukherjee, former professor of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). Over two days, the seminar will feature papers and discussions led by prominent historians and scholars from leading Indian universities.
