As part of the International Election Visitor Programme, delegates from various countries witnessed the electoral process in Tamil Nadu during the recently concluded Assembly elections in the state.
“India is giving the whole world the experience, the procedures and the knowledge to do it. That’s what democracy is, bring a voice to the voters,” Mauritius High Commissioner to India Sheilabai Bappoo said in an official press release issued by the Election Commission of India.
