What is India Mobile Congress 2026?

The 10th edition of India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2026 is being held from October 7 to 10 at the Yashobhoomi Convention Center in New Delhi.

According to IMC, the event puts DeepTech and frontier innovation at the center of its startup agenda.

The main focus of the 2026 edition will be to help emerging companies move from prototypes to commercial scale, investment and market access through its flagship ASPIRE platform.

More than 500 startups and SMEs are expected

India Mobile Congress is jointly organized by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and the Mobile Operators Association of India (COAI).

According to IMC, the event is expected to bring together more than 500 startups and SMEs, along with more than 300 venture capital firms, angel networks, incubators and business innovation entities.

The event’s focus on startups and frontier technologies comes at a time when India’s tech ecosystem continues to place greater emphasis on moving emerging technologies from development and experimentation to commercial applications.

However, for Delhi commuters, the immediate impact of the four-day event will be traffic management measures around Yashobhoomi, especially on October 8, when temporary restrictions are planned for heavy and commercial vehicles.
