India, along with 18 other nations, participate in Talisman Saber 2025, the main bilateral military exercise led by Australia, which began on Sunday (July 13, 2025).
Now in its 11th. The iteration is the largest and most demanding war exercise ever in Australia, in Australia, in Australia. The exercise combines more than 35,000 military employees from 19 nations.
“Over the next three weeks, more than 35,000 military employees from Australia and partner nations will be deployed across Queensland, Northern Territory, Western Australia, New South Wales and Christmas Island (in Australia).
In addition to the US, military forces from Canada, Fiji, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Tonga and the United Kingdom. As observers, Malaysia and Vietnam will participate.
This issue of military exercises would consist of exercise on live fire and field training activities, integration of preparatory activities of forces, amphibious landings, ground forces and air combat and naval operations. It will also include a number of new Australian defense capabilities, including Black Hawks UH-60M and Precision Strike missiles.
