(AP) England was punished with a deduction of two points in the ICC World Championship and fined 10 percent of its fees for maintaining slow excessive levels during its recent test match against India in Lord’s. The punishment came after time allowances were considered, which was England from 24 to 22 out of 36, resulting in a decrease from 66.67% to 61.11% and caused them to slip from second to the third position in the championship ranking.
