Two construction workers were killed on the composed wall of the building of the insufficient center in Thitthimuk near Chithirapuram in Munnar collapsed after the country reached Wednesday. The deceased were identified as Kr Rajeev, 40, from Anachal and Benny, 49, from Bison Valley.
According to the police, there was an incident around 16:00 construction work took place for approximately 20 feet high retaining walls. While the work progressed, the country threw itself and workers were imprisoned under the debris. The workers were rescued after a long search by the fire and rescue service staff, the police and the locals, but their lives could not be saved.
The bodies have been moved to the Adimala Taluk Hospital for postmortal examination.
According to Munnar Special Tahsildar Gayathri PV, the 36-cent soil belongs to Sherin Anila of Joseph of Kumblangi. “The revenue department issued a stop for construction work in the center. Later the village officer closed the building and handed over the key to Devikulum.
