IMD, Amaravati, Director of S. Stell, said that many stations in the state received “large excess” precipitation in May. “Last week was a good monsoon beginning. There will be a short pause in rain activity before renewing after 11th June. This is a normal precipitation formula,” Mrs. Stella said.
She added that IMD predicted the amount of normal precipitation for the state in June and also in the southwestern monsoon.
According to the IMD forecast, daily temperatures will increase in 2-3 ° Celsius to 4 June. In one or two places (25% or less than 25% of stations), light to medium rain, accompanied by lightning and thunderstorms, is expected. Their probability is less.
At present, Andhra Pradesh and Yanam are prevailing, which caused the weather a change, a lower tropospheric western/southwest winds.
With the exception of several stations in Rayalaseem, which received irregular rainfall, all other stations in the state recorded on Monday over 38 ° Celsius daily temperatures. Yangamamheswarapuram has seen the maximum temperature of 41 ° C. Daily temperatures in Visakhapatnam, Narsapore, Machitipipnam and Kakinada also remained above 38 ° C.
At 19:00, the minimum temperatures remained above 35 ° Celsius at many stations in the districts of Prakasam, NTR, Palnadu, Bapatla and SPSR Nellore, according to the development and planning data, etc.
