Bollywood actress and pandjab Kings co -owner of Preity Zinta strongly refuted the viral claim to social media and called it “false news”.
The claim was that Zinta said after last year’s iPL Mega auction, allegedly said that Kings pandjab decided to Shreyas Iyer because they wanted “a big performer, not a big name, not a big name”.

The legends began after the X user shared a quote attributed to zinta, allegedly in response to Pant’s an earlier note that he was concerned that Kings Pandjáb did not choose during the auction. “We had Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer – the possibilities we could take … But we wanted a big artist,” Zinta quoted.

However, Zinta immediately replied to X and refused the post: “I’m sorry, but these are fake news.” Furthermore, it did not work.
The original poster did not participate in Zinty’s rejection, but doubled to Pant’s past comments. “Madam, if Rishabh Pant can go on national television and say something about Kings Panjab, why can’t we?” The user asked.
