
The Indian Institute of Technology Madras invited applications for the second dose of students for B. Tech in the AI program. The course, with strong industrial connections and from basic research in global technology companies to applied sectors such as production and healthcare, is offered through Wadhwani School of Data Science and AI.
Those who qualified in Jee (Advanced) can decide for the program. Up to 50 students will be admitted to the program whose course in IIT Madras is 412L: Artificial Intelligence and Data Analysis.
The director of the Institute V. Kamakoti said that the course has a carefully developed curriculum, which is in line with the needs of the industry and the research community. Students will have academic flexibility, allowing them to adapt their teaching path with a wide range of optional. They have the opportunity to learn the complexity of speech and language technology and computer vision. They can also explore applications in the analysis of control and detection and time series.
The course focuses on application on real world problems and fair and responsible AI. The basic curriculum was designed to provide a complex foundation in AI and analysis of data that covered a wide range of entities. Basic courses, specialized modules in machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, endowment models and strength learning will take place in linear algebra and number.
