The former cricket did not delay his emotions and called the situation “heartbreaking” and “complete shame of sport”.
“It hurts me deeply to say it, but sometimes I regret that I played cricket. It is heartbreaking to see individuals with little or no understanding of the game that now teaches and leads in positions. It is a complete shame for sport,” Ians said.

Should BCCi intervene in this situation involving Azharuddin?
“I am determined to take legal steps against this injustice and call on BCCi to intervene and take adequate steps. This problem is not isolated – Sunrisers Hyderabad also had a dispute with the association compared to the cards, emphasizing the pattern of poor management and conflict,” said the former captain.

He also added that the situation became personal, especially after he was forbidden to attack the HCA elections.
“What is happening is out of understanding and it hurts on a personal level. I was not allowed to attack the elections of HCA, simply because I revealed corruption in the system. This truth made me a goal,” he said.
The decision to remove the name of Azharuddin from the stadium stadium was accepted by the judiciary (Retd) V. Eswaraiah, an ethical clerk of HCA, after a petition submitted by a cricket club Lords – membership of the State Association.
The petition claimed that Azharuddin, as President of HCA, misused his position by taking arbitrary decisions. Specifically, it pointed to the council of the peak council in December 2019, just a month after he joined the office where the resolution was adopted to name the northern stand behind him. According to the HCA rules, such resolutions require approval from a general body that has not been reported.
