What is Bhuvneshwar’s greatest strength?
“I’m not thinking about India coming back. It’s been many years since I stopped keeping or giving long-term goals because whenever I did, it never worked for me. I’m happy to have played 200 matches and taken so many wickets, in the over and at the death. I think it’s all a reward for what I’ve done over the years. I honestly didn’t feel anything at all in those years, even in those special years. Of course, I’d be lying if I he said I won’t feel it later when I stop playing, I think it will be memories that will come in handy later, but at the moment I think it’s very normal,” Bhuvneshwar said in a video released by RCB.The veteran seamer produced one of his best performances of the season during RCB’s thrilling win over Mumbai Indians on 10 May. Bhuvneshwar, who was named man of the match, tore through Mumbai’s top order, finishing with figures of 4/23 in his four overs. His key spell included the wickets of Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav in the same over, putting MI under immense pressure at the start of the chase. He made a decisive contribution with the bat even in the tense final moments of the game. With RCB needing nine runs off the last three deliveries, Bhuvneshwar smashed a crucial six off Raj Angad Bawa before Bengaluru sealed a dramatic two-wicket victory in the last ball.
