
Justice B. Vijaysen Reddy on Monday observed that the Telangana High Court was hearing several cases complaining of arbitrary actions by HYDRAA, instructing the authorities not to indulge in demolition of illegal structures at any place.
The instruction read, in addition to the removal of encroachments and the restoration of water bodies, embankments, parks and public roads. However, the agency should not take any enforcement action related to unauthorized construction, internal roads, removal of walls without submitting directions to the court in accordance with laws relating to GHMC and municipalities, the judge said.
