The Minister of the Union HD Kumaraswama, who expressed outrage at the alleged corruption at the Karnataka housing department, ridiculed the main Minister Siddaramaiaha by noting whether he had the courage and integrity to seek the resignation of the Minister of Housing BZ Zemeer Ahmed Khan.
As for the press conference in Delhi, Mr. Kumaraswamy said: “There are several layers of fraud within the ministry. Is the main minister to resign the minister of housing? Is this cm of courage, integrity or moral powers to do?”
He said that the state of the MLA in the state was as the state of the famous character Tabary, while remembling the famous Kannada story Tabaran Kathe by KP Poornochandra Tejaswi, who was filmed into the film Girish Kasaravalli, where Watchman runs from the pillar to claim his pension.
“Unfortunately, today’s MLA is in the same situation and is running to ministers and engineers for schemes and funds. The state has never been so sorry for the state of public affairs,” he said.
“The MLA travels like the character of Tabar, I go around the offices and ministers for grants and government schemes. If even members of the party face such problems, what would be the situation of the opposition MLA?”
