Hardik Pandya will reach the BCCI CoE on June 2 ahead of the Afghanistan ODI
Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya is all set to arrive at the BCCI Center (CoE) in Bengaluru on June 2. Pandya is likely to spend more than a week at the facility before joining the Indian ODI squad for the Afghanistan series on June 11.The 32-year-old last played in the format in the Champions Trophy final against New Zealand in March 2025. He was named in the ODI squad selected on 19 May but is “subject to eligibility clearance”.It is learned that the BCCI medical team has ordered Rohit Sharma and Pandya to report to the CoE, but nothing is clear about the former at this stage. Pandya is likely to undergo conditioning exercises and match simulations over the next week.India’s Test team begins training in Mullanpur. Meanwhile, the Indian Test team will have its first practice session from June 6 ahead of the one-off Test against Afghanistan in Mullanpur. The team will train in the afternoon – from 1.30pm to 4.30pm – and their opponents from Afghanistan had a morning session – from 9.30am to 12.30pm.There is a possibility of a late addition to the Test camp with the selectors adding Auqib Nabi to the squad.
