The first course focused on the foundations of DPI and implementation strategy, lived live after a memorandum of understanding (MO) signed in Delhi 30 July 2025 between Karmayogi Bharat and DPI Academy.
J. Satyanarayan, who chaired the DPI Academy and previously served as Minister of Meity and chairman of the unique India (Uida) identification body, issued an inauguration course and said:
“One of our key reports is that digital public infrastructure is a means – not the end – on the way of digital transformation. Our goal is to help civil servants understand that DPI is an essential tool that can be applied across sectors to achieve meaningful results.”

The Igot portal began in 2018, followed by Kickstarter of Mission Karmayogi in 2020, Dopt said. He added that the aim of the Karmayogi mission is to initially train 46 central government officers and finally cover 1.5 Crore government officials in medium, state and municipal governments.
