Governor Thaawwarchand Gehlot said that outgoing graduates would not only face new challenges, but also have opportunities, and it was for them to take advantage of the knowledge and education they have gained at the university and make the most of it to contribute to the nation.
Mr. Gehlot, who spoke here on the 3rd annual convening of Mandy Univers, said the world was changing quickly and artificial intelligence and science of data affects all aspects of life. Therefore, it was necessary to constantly inform, he said, and urged the outgoing students to commit themselves to learning and monitoring their interest areas.
Mr. Gehlot emphasized the contributions of ancient India to knowledge in various spheres and called on the youth to help the country to achieve its goal to become a developed economy by 2047, when the nation completes 100 years of independence.
Governor encouraged students to accept changes and innovation, and invited graduates to contribute to the initiatives of building nations such as Make in India, Viksit Bharat and EC Bharat Shreshhtha Bharat. “Today India is the fourth largest economy in the world and you (students) have to contribute to ensuring its creation among the three best economies,” he added.
Up to 815 graduates and postgraduate graduates won the title during convening.
Soumendranath Bandopadhyay, director of NSHM Knowledge Campus, Kolkata, said graduate students are entering a dynamic world that is constantly changing and suppressed by socio-economic and political problems.
While, on the one hand, there was a conflict of Israel and Iran, the war of Ukraine-Russia influenced the world at the political level. The rise of artificial intelligence was a demanding established intellectual and knowledge framework that led to new uncertainties, he added.
He reminded the graduates that their achievements were the result of their parents ‘victims and their teachers’ determination, and therefore called on them to be anchored and remembered their contributions and at the same time appreciate their own success.
Bandopadhyay said that the university was growing rapidly and the need for hours was more cooperation projects with international institutions and universities, as they would expand the exhibition received by students and expand their horizon and outlook.
