
Google has introduced a new feature on Android for its calendar apps designed to make managing tasks easier. The app allows users to create tasks, edit them with details, create subtasks, and use them with Google Workspace products such as Gmail and Calendar, and sync across devices. The company introduced a full-screen task list on the web last year and is now launching it to Android smartphones as well. With its launch, users will be able to have a complete understanding of all their tasks and task lists.
It is worth noting that this development is based on the recent integration of the calendar into Gemini by Google’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) Assistant.
Full-screen task list in Google Calendar

Update to drive Android file selector
In addition to full-screen views in Google Calendar, the company has also introduced an improved drive Android file selector for Android devices. It makes access to recently viewed drive projects easier, Google says. Additionally, it allows users to quickly view items shared in drives, my drives, and other storage locations.
The feature has been launched into the fast release domain and will be launched to the scheduled release domain starting December 2.
