The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation’s Standing Committee meeting on Wednesday approved a total of 18 proposals, including one for multi-level parking in Khilwat, a plan that has been pending for more than a decade, and another to implement the One Time Settlement Scheme (OTS) to recover property tax arrears.
Permission was sought for a multi-level parking proposal application on a design, build, finance, operate and transfer basis for 15 years with an option to extend by five years based on performance.
The proposal to establish a 50-seat inbound call center for effective complaint handling and to upgrade servers in the call center is one of the approved table items in addition to the agenda items.
Road widening proposals related to flyover at Owaisi Junction, Rasoolpura, AOC Centre, Fatehbowli and Nanalnagar junctions were approved by the committee besides ratifying administrative sanction for repairs and renovation of Fatehnagar flyover.
