
Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has associated with Google to launch a generative pilot project based on AI focused on solving key civic challenges and improve civil services throughout the city.
On Monday, a virtual meeting described as a “pioneering move”, a statement from GHMC to show a virtual meeting to discuss the project travel map, it was attended by secretary, metropolitan area and department of city development, K. Ilambarithi, Commissioner GHMC RV Karnan
The Genai pilot will explore the futuristic technologically controlled solutions of common urban problems and focus on creating a sensitive and intelligent city administration, she said. Key Areas of Focus Include Ai-enabled Government and Citizen Services, Genai-Powered Search Bar for Government Services, Conversational Chatbots and AI Search Tools for Government Employees, Ai-Based Citizen Enquiry Classification Credentials for Government-to-Citizen Services, Ai-Based Tender Evaluation System, Smart Parking Management Using AI, Solid Waste Management Optimization Using AI, Auto Filing for Public Applications, Real Time Tracking of Public Buses Via Google Maps Platform, monitoring AI storage in lakes and AI to detect and prevent vector diseases between several others.
This cooperation represents a milestone in the digital transformation path of GHMC. After successful testing, these AI tools will be reduced throughout the city, allowing Hyderabad to serve as a national model for intelligent urban life powered by technical drive.
