Officials of larger Bengalur (GBA) and newly sent officials of five corporations in the city first met on Thursday and winged key areas of focus – potholes, street lighting and waste management.
Tushar Giri Nath, another main secretary, the Department of City Development, at a meeting and ordered officials to focus on these three areas, said that the solution of these three questions would deal with most civil fears and “emphasize the importance of responding to public needs”.
Mr. Giri Nath told officials that “it was necessary to make visible improvements to reflect administrative changes introduced through GBA”.
“The GBA and all five corporations must work in coordination to solve problems in a gradual way,” he said, calling “all parties involved to work together to strengthen the image and functionality of the city”. He ordered all corporations to take preventive measures to process ongoing monsoons and “upgrade traffic intersections and improve pedestrian infrastructure beyond expectations”.
Commissioner GBA M. Maleshwar Rao emphasized the focus on generating income and improving road quality. “All corporations must immediately fill potholes and improve road quality. Planning on micro -level must be implemented for units with cleanliness of cleanliness, waste removal and removal of waste black points along the roads,” he said.
He ordered all City Corporation Commissioners to actively participate in daily virtual meetings, chaired by a special commissioner (income), GBA to make income generation and e-Khatas to make E-Khatas more efficient.
Munish Mourdgil, Special Commissioner (Income), GBA, said this year, BBMP has already selected BBMP within the goal of 6,700 Crore Crore in the real estate tax collection. BBMP issued electronic notifications to 2.75 real estate owners who owe the CRORE 786 GBP in waiting tax fees. He asked all urban corporations to intensify the efforts to collect high -cost real estate fees.
Know your corporation
Given that there is confusion among the city’s inhabitants of which corporation will now belong, the government has launched a specialized website – to help them learn the same. “The residents can scan the connected QR code and enter their name or number of the department to find out which corporation they belong to,” GBA said.
To clarify the confusion of the borders of new corporations, the GBA Commissioner M. Maleshwar Rao ordered officials to install names immediately indicating the boundaries of corporation, for the clarity of the public. He also stated that appropriate places were identified for each corporation.
