The forest department was captured by Tusker aged about 32 to 35 years in Parvatathamma Betta on Saturday in the village of Vatepura in Aluru Taluk. It was known that the elephant attacked human beings and attacked crops.
This is the second elephant captured by the Ministry in the last three days. On Thursday, the ministry captured Tusker in Magadi, Sakleshpur Taluk.
Forest guards and observers watched the animal to Parvathamma Betty early in the morning. A team of officials and tamed elephants has reached space. The team veterinarians calmed the animal by firing an arrow. Later the staff caught the animal using tamed elephants.
SouraBh Kumar, a representative of the Hassan forest conservator, reported the media that the operation was performed under the leadership of the main main conservator of the forest (wilderness) Subhash K. Malkad, assistant to the main main conservator of the forest (Elephant project) and the conservator of the forests of V. Yedukonal. ChittiyAppa, Vasim, Mujeeb and other employees were involved in the operation.
Part of the operation were elephants Dhananjaya, Sugreeva, Bheema, Kanjan, Ekalavya and Mahendra. The department performed an operation after repeated incidents of human conflict in the district.
