The Election Commission has frozen the Trinamool Congress name and Mamata Banerjee’s party symbol. Separate talks were held today with “Kalighat Trinamool” and “Ritobroto Trinamool”. Following this, an interim order was issued this evening, reported Anandabazar Online.

It has been made clear that the All India Trinamool Congress party name and its double flower symbol have been frozen for now, the publication added.
