UPHC URBAN (UPHC) in Edamalaipattipudur, Tiruch, has received a national certification certification to ensure quality (NQAS) from the Ministry of Health and Family Care) to comply with high quality standards.
UPHC provided 94.68% and met all certification requirements. The facility received accreditation for adherence to the highest standards in healthcare, especially in mothers’ health, immunization, implementation of strict hand hygiene for employees and aseps, disinfection and sterilization, maintenance of equipment and infrastructure, services availability and patient satisfaction. The device excelled in diagnostic services, para services, support services and field activities. It is the fifth UPHC that receives NQAS certification in Tiruch.
The national team recently inspected the Center for Evaluation Before the Certification Issued.
According to M. Vijay Chandran, an urban medical officer, experts evaluated the quality of infrastructure, including services offered by upcoming mothers and new births, treatment of portable and non -portable diseases and cleanliness of the health center that lives in the locality.
As a result, UPHC received a cash reward of 2.5 GBP. About 25% of the winnings will be provided as incentives for medical staff on Wednesday and the rest will be used for patients’ welfare and UPHC development.
On average, the health center processes around 310 patients a day and makes 11 supplies per month. He has doctors, three nurses, five urban nurses, pharmacist, laboratory technician and two multi -purpose healthcare professionals.
The two -storey equipment has six beds and offers treatment of generally medicine, maternity health, newborn and children’s care, immunization, family planning, portable disease, non -transferable disease, accidents and emergency. It has a pharmacy and a laboratory. Polyclinics are available in the medical center.
