According to CareEdge’s latest assessment report, MSME loans have grown significantly, surpassing outstanding advances ₹35 lakh crore, registering a compound average growth rate (CAGR) of 15.1%, indicating higher bank credit to the sector. The gross non-performing asset (GNPA) ratio of MSPs showed steady improvement, falling from 11% in FY20 to 3.3% by September 2025, supported by recovery, modernization and easing of new slumps.
