Rashtriya Jal Jeevan Mission Nodal Mission Ashish Kundra on Friday, June 13, ordered the UDUPI district administration to enter water supply for 1,904 apartments in 69 Karkala, Hebri and Talluks hoods from the Varahi 2025 River.
Mr. Kundra, chaired by the meeting of the Committee on the supply and hygiene of water in the UDU district in Rajatadri, in the district complex in manipal, called the government to prefer the administration to complete the drinking water supply system.
Mr. Kundra said Mr. Kundra said that the forest department has already cleared the proposals for laying pipes through identified forest sections. Therefore, the process should be accelerated, he said. Work related to the use of the power supply, providing power distribution, pumping house, tanks, etc. should be completed first, he added.
Deputy Commissioner K. Vidyakumari, technical assistant of Narayan Das Mishhra, Zilla Panchayat (ZP) Schedule Director Uday Kumar Shetty, Executive engineer ZP UDay Kumar, and others were present.
