The U.S. Department of Justice released a new batch of Jeffrey Epstein files on Tuesday that contain numerous references to President Donald Trump. In one such file, a complaint received by the FBI reveals chilling allegations about the current US president.
The latest files released by the Justice Department contain a wealth of previously unseen material from the investigation led by Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted sex trafficker who died by suicide in prison in 2019.
Epstein Files: What Does the Complaint Say?
According to a file released by the Department of Justice, the complainant went to the FBI on March 8, 2020, claiming she was a victim of sex trafficking and was trafficked by her uncle and Jeffrey Epstein in 1984.
The victim was 13 years old and pregnant during the incident. She claimed that her newborn daughter was murdered and disposed of during that time “because I gave birth to her in the midst of this ordeal of sex trafficking”.
The victim, whose name has been redacted from the documents to protect her identity, has contacted the FBI to find details about an NYPD detective she says called her days before the murder between May and September 1984.
It further provides chilling details of the incident regarding the disposal of the newborn baby. She said the girl’s body was thrown into Lake Michigan from a yacht, naming President Donald Trump as a witness to the incident and claiming he was present at the incident.
“A detective from the New York Police Department’s FBI Sex Trafficking Task Force called me a few weeks ago from the 212 area number,” the victim claims.
“I talked to him for about 20 or 30 minutes about being sex-trafficked by my uncle and Jeffrey Epstein in 1984 when I was 13 and pregnant,” she says, claiming she gave the detective information about some other “high-profile individuals” involved in her sex-trafficking.
Giving more details about the murder, she said the infant’s murder took place “mostly from a yacht in Lake Michigan coming from Mona Lake, MI,” citing Trump as a witness.
DOJ’s View of Trump
Following the release of the new Epstein files, the Justice Department issued a statement defending Donald Trump, saying some of the documents “contain false and sensational allegations against President Trump.”
The 79-year-old Republican, who has not been charged with any crime related to Jeffrey Epstein, fought for months to prevent the documents from being released.
