
The Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist), an ally of the opposition Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance) in Bihar, plans to attack about 45 seats a total of 243 in the elections to the assembly that sailed at the end of this year.
CPI (ml) will also start the campaign “Wanded by Sarkar-Badlo Bihar” (change of government, change Bihar), soon throughout the state.
On Tuesday (June 10, 2025), who addressed Mediaperons in Patna, the CPI (ml) National Secretary General Dipankar Bhattacharya said, “Our party is preparing for the competition of 40-45 gatherings in the upcoming elections.
Won 12 elections in 2020
In the last elections to the assembly by 2020, the party received 12 seats from 19 that attacked. CPI (ml), the Indian Communist Party (CPI) and the Communist Party of India (Marxista) together won 16 out of a total of 29 seats in the elections. CPI questioned six seats while CPI (m) fought in four seats. They both won each two places. In the elections in Lok Sabha 2024, CPI (ml) received two Ara and Karakat chairs out of a total of 40 seats.
“No Administration”
CPI (ml) killed the NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modim on Wednesday and the main Minister of Nitish Kumar in the State on National Security and Law and Order issues.
“Today, there is no government as such in the state. The law and order have collapsed, and the people of the state are caught between crime and corruption,” Mr. Bhattacharya said. “Cases of rape have become common and feudal atrocities have increased in the state in the state in the name of development and good administration.
The party leader said CPI (ML) will lead the Sarkar-Badlo Bihar campaign from 18 June to 27th June, especially in four Shahabad, Saran-Champaran, Magadh and Muzaffarpur to Darbhang.
Call to a special session
The CPI leader (ML) also criticized the government led in foreign policy. “The government has sent seven delegations to 32 countries (after the Sindoor operation), but Indian international isolation continues. They (Central Government) should call a special parliamentary meeting to discuss the terrorist incident Pahalgam and the situation,” he said. “The NDA government led by BJP has weakened the country on every front, especially on issues related to national security and foreign policy,” he said.
