Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday (April 13, 2026) said his party stood by Pawan Khera and “will not be intimidated” after the Assam government moved the Supreme Court challenging his transit anticipatory bail in a case related to his allegations against Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and his wife.
On April 10, the Telangana High Court granted a week’s anticipatory bail to the chairman of the AICC’s Media and Publicity Department, who had filed a relief application after the Assam Police visited his residence in Delhi for questioning but did not find him there.
