Congress on Sunday (August 31, 2025) stated that the party filed 89 complaints of the Lakhs at the Indian Election Commission (ECI) and had evidence of embossed income, unlike the statement that Bihar had a “zero complaint” in Bihar.
“The party claimed that all deleted names would have to be verified again,” said Pawan Khera, chairman of the India Congress Committee at the Media and Publicity Department, and addressed a press conference in the party.
Mr. Khera was accompanied by President Bihar Congress Rajesh Ram and other leaders, including Akhilesh Prasad and Shakeel Ahmad.
“ECI still receives reports planted through its sources that there are no complaints from any political party. The truth is that Congress has submitted 89 complaints of the Lakhs concerning the irregularities of Sir ECI,” Khera said.
While Congress did not want any illegal voter in election roles, he did not want any authorized voter to be removed from the list, whether intentionally or unintentionally, he added.
“Despite the obvious resistance from ECI to complaints, the Presidents of the District Congress provided signed and stamped revenues from the district voters.
ECI quoted four reasons for eraseing names from the voter list, Khera said. While the names of 25 Lakh voters were deleted on the alleged migration of migration, there were reportedly dead 22 voters, which were marked at their addresses by 9.7 Lakh voters at their addresses and their addresses and seven names of the Lakhů were erased because they were also registered elsewhere.
There are a lot of cases where one voter got two epic numbers (election photographic identification card), Mr. Khera said.
Mr. Khera said that some interesting patterns were recorded at Sir, because there were 20,638 stalls where more than 100 names were removed. There were 1,988 stalls where more than 200 names were removed, he added. In 7,613 stands, 70% of the deleted names of voters were named and 635 stalls, more than 75% of voters erased in the category of migrants were women, Khera said.
It sounded strange, because they were usually men who migrated to work, said. The women seemed specially focused on erase, the leader of the congress said.
At 7,931 stalls, 75% of voters were removed because they were said to have died, he said. There were serious discrepancies in this category, because many voters who were declared dead in Sir, then met the leader of Congress Rahul Gandhi, said Mr. Khera.
With regard to these discrepancies, all deleted names must be re -verified, he said. ECI must confirm the status of each selector by verifying from door to door, Khera said.
The President of the Bihar Rajesh Ram Congress said that detailed control of the deleted names confirmed what Mr. Gandhi warned long ago.
At the beginning, ECI said that the names of about 20% of voters would be removed due to migration, and that is exactly what happened, Mr. Ram said.
“This suggests that ECI worked with pre -conditioned thinking. The irony is that most voters whose names were removed from the election cylinders do not even know about it,” said Mr. Ram.
Later, Bihar ECI issued a press note that rejected Bihar accusation. “To date, no agent at the stand level allowed by any district chairman of the Indian National Congress in Bihar submitted any claim (Form 6) or objection (Form 7) to any name in the election roles published on August 1, 2025 in the prescribed format,” ECI said.
