The police of Rachakonda performed all 2,847 waiting for capacity (NBW) in a 30 -day operation, which aimed at bringing the number of such orders to zero under the “NBW without Commissioners”.
The procedure started after the number of waiting NBWS grew sharply from 1,088 in January to 2,847 to the end of April, said police commissioner G. Sudheer Babu.
“Nine special teams were created, each consisting of one sub-in-inspector and four constables to make the division of executions.
A total of 2,024 accused were physically produced in the court. “In the remaining 823 cases, the police submitted the courts for the announcement proceedings, the notification of warranty and the connection of assets pursuant to sections 82 and 83 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, and the corresponding provisions of the BNSS,” the official added.
He also explained that 1 408 was released between NBWS for a long time ago before 2023. In 52 cases it was found that the accusations had died. “Fourteen accused were already in prison and their orders were regulated for the purpose of initiation of court proceedings. In 13 cases the accused terminated half of the court proceedings and the police re -introduced their presence. In cases related to narcotics, four persons were required.
The police said it would continue to perform all new NBW early. If orders cannot be made, legal action, including statements, forfeiture and connection to assets, will be initiated.
