District Collector Sri Sathya Sai A. Shyam Prasad on Saturday inspected the dewatering works on feeder canals under the ‘Jaladhara–Jalaharathi’ scheme and directed the irrigation and revenue officials to speed up implementation and ensure efficient flow of water to all tanks.
While inspecting the Kondiganigutta stream in Nallamada mandal, the Collector inspected the works and examined the estimates and diversion routes. Officials said the project, built at an estimated cost of ₹ 4.99 lakh, will take water from Kondiganigutta via Kottakunta to Reddypalli and further to the Malukavemula reservoirs in Mandal and nearby villages.
