Days after the Minister of the City Administration of KN Nezru told the State Assembly that the steps would be taken to uncover the statue of late actor Sivaji Ganesana, Tiruchi Corporation has undergone a unanimous resolution to install it at the Williams Road-Warners.
According to sources, the main Minister of MK Stalin, who is supposed to visit Tiruchi, is likely to reveal a statue. Steps were taken to install status in a new location. If this happens, the 14 -year -old waiting for enthusiastic fans Sivaji Ganesan will end.
Hours after the corporation underwent a resolution, there was a nine -foot high bronze statue, which was installed in 2011 by Sivaji fans with crowdfunding at the Palakarai roundabout to move it to a new location. A group of workers with the help of the ground picked up a statue without causing any damage. The statue was maintained at a roundabout in Palakarai by quoting the Supreme Court’s decision in 2013, which prevented the statue from being unveiled.
The City of the Madurai Bench of Madras The High Court on the written petition submitted by A. Mohan Balaji of Tiruchi to reveal the statue, said the court allowed to hand over the statue to the organizers or move into any tourists. On this basis, the statue could be installed at the Williams Road-Warners road junction without disrupting traffic.
Mayor M. Anbazhagan told Hindu that the resolution would be sent to the State Government through the collector Tiruchi, who is looking for his permission. The state government would soon issue an order in this sense, he said.
