
Chief Justice of India Surya Kant and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will lay the foundation stone for the Andhra Pradesh Judicial Academy Building and the Supreme Court Guest House and Club and will inaugurate the Residential Enclave of Supreme Court Judges at Amaravati on March 1 (Sunday). The program is organized by Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA).
Supreme Court judges including JK Maheshwari, PS Narasimha, Ahsanuddin Amanullah, Prashant Kumar Mishra, SVN Bhatti and Joymalya Bagchi will attend the event along with state ministers and other dignitaries.
According to an APCRDA report, the Judicial Academy is located on a 4.83-acre plot at Pichukalapalem, about 5.70 km from the Andhra Pradesh High Court building in Nelapad. The academy was designed to accommodate 120 novice judges in a batch and 60 faculty and staff members.
The High Court Inn and Club will be built on 6,300 square yards with a total built up area of 50,000 square feet. The Judges Residential Enclave will be built on an area of 33.20 acres across Nelapadu and Kondamarajupal villages.
Up to 36 High Court judges will be provided accommodation in G+1 bungalows. Each bungalow will have a plot of 2,019 square yards and a built-up area of 7,775 square feet, including a camp office, servants quarters and a security cabin. The layout ensures 60% ground coverage and 15% green coverage.
