Choppadandi MLA Medipally Sathyam intervenes to speed up rice lifting process and ease farmers’ woes

Choppadandi MLA Medipally Sathyam personally monitored the rice lifting process at various shopping malls in Gangadhara mandal of Karimnagar district on Sunday.

Responding to shopping problems due to a reported shortage of vehicles at several paddy malls, Mr. Sathyam rushed to the Madhuranagar chowrasta on the Karimnagar-Jagtial main road on Sunday afternoon.

He held discussions with truck owners plying on the highway and convinced them to deploy vehicles to move rice stock from shopping malls to rice mills, sources said.

He got into a truck and drove to a nearby rice shopping center where he oversaw the rice lifting process.

Local farmers welcomed the MLA’s intervention to ensure deployment of trucks to speed up the ‘late’ lifting of paddy fields and ease their hardships.
