China rejected reports proposing interviews with the US to achieve tariffs agreements and stated that Beijing’s position is “consistent and clear”.
“China and the US do not consult or negotiate on tariffs, and are less and less agreement,” said the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun on media briefing in the capital after being asked to claim that China and the US had interviews and even planned to reach an agreement.
