The Indian government chose Sri Venkateswar by the University of University TTD (Svene) for sanctioning the Research Center of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS). The proposal submitted by Dean (Research) A. Venkat Radhe Shyam was explored by an expert committee according to which the center was approved to the university. MVN Pavan Kumar Sharma, Dean, Faculty of Paurohity, was named a co-picipal investigator.
The center will focus on innovative research in “speech, linguistics and edutainment” and emphasizes the current importance of Vedas, Vedangas and Vedant. Vice -President Rani Sadasiva Murty called it on Monday (September 1, 2025) “proud moment”.
