Administrator and General Auditor (CAG) will include experts from EMPANENED Chartered Accountacyan (CA) for an audit of about 350 central autonomous authorities that start this year.
“With regard to limited technical sources available with the institution in relation to the extensive audit environment in this area, this decision was taken. The lease will be part of the team kept by a field official for the Indian audit and the accounts of the Ministry of CAG. About 30 seats were identified for the placement of experts.
This step is expected to release resources for greater coverage of compliance with regulations and performance throughout the country.
CAG also accepts initiatives for building capacity with regard to the rapid economic growth of the country. “In the background of progress in India towards a developed country, effective public expenditures and robust fiscal management have become more critical. In order to provide better provision of services to citizens, the coverage and complexity of delivery systems have also developed.
The departments and ministries include more than 700 central public sector companies and 1600 state sector companies, 485 central autonomous bodies, more than 700 state autonomous bodies, Panchayati Raj, city local authorities, parastatals and vehicles of special purpose.
