
Traders selling bananas, jackfruit, coffee, vegetables and seedlings of fruits to farmers in Nilgiris were directed to obtain seed licenses according to Seeds (Control), 1983.
The press release of the Office of the Deputy Director of the Section Inspective, S. Revathi, said that during a meeting of agricultural complaints in the district collector’s office, a request was submitted through the Association of Farmers that sellers of bananas seedlings should be regulated under the seeds of the Seeds of Seeds and Diseases. Based on the directions of the collector, it was ordered that all sellers of bananas seedlings obtain a seed license and sold only quality seedlings.
“Therefore, those selling bananas, jackfruit, coffee and vegetable seedlings, and seedlings of fruit to farmers in Gudalur and other areas of the Nilgiris district must obtain a seed license in the 1983 seeds. The vehicles are brought to collide to ensure that the deductions are entered in order to bring the deductions.
In the coming days, traders who want to sell crop seedlings, including bananas in the Nilgiris district, should contact the seed inspector, udhagamandalam by phone at 81055-49018 and obtain a seed license, Mrs. Revithi said.
