The ambitious plan of the State Government to build 5,000 temples in SC/ST colonies across Andhra Pradesh in the next five years is financed by the common public.
On Tuesday on Tuesday, the Minister for the Anam Ramanarayana Reddy Foundation spoke that the financial source of the Mammoth project will be from the common good fund (CGF), whose piece is accepted through offers for temples and in the form of public donations.
He repeated the obligation of the state government to protect temples and remembered the allocation of 10,000 GBP per month to “Dhoop Deep Naivedy” for 5,523 temples throughout the State, which would expand to 1,000 others to October.
Similarly, the Minister mentioned the increase in salaries of priests and the payment of the monthly “sambhavana” of 3,000 to 600 Vedic students for three years as steps to rejuvenate “Sanatana Dharma”. Mr. Reddy said that the process of forming credible advice on thousands of temples operating within the Endowment Department will be completed from December to March.
