The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has demanded that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) investigate the alleged business interests, assets and financial transactions of the family members of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.
Telangana Mineral Development Corporation (TGMDC) former chairman and BRS official spokesperson Manne Krishank said at a press conference here on Saturday that the chief minister is misusing his office to promote business interests linked to his family members. He raised suspicions about the prime minister’s repeated attendance at the inauguration of private health facilities and alleged a nexus between a pharmaceutical company, a corporate hospital, an educational institution holding company and people connected to the prime minister’s family.
Demanding a thorough investigation into the ownership structures, shareholdings, investments and financial transactions of these companies, the BRS leader said he is not making mere allegations but submitting (sending) documents, company records and financial details to investigating agencies and people.
He said investigating agencies should look into the source of funds, beneficial ownership, shareholding patterns, related party transactions and movement of money between the companies concerned.
