Leader leader Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and former Minister T. Harish Rao criticized the state government for arresting farmers in Kameddy district for increasing their voice offer of urea.
In his statement, Mr. Rao said on Saturday that the government of Congress had forced the farmer to leave agricultural fields and wait for police stations and were waiting for their release after their arrest in arrested cases. Farmers are arrested for entitlement to supply urea and instead of dealing with their problem and supply urea, the government accommodated them in prison/police stations, he said.
He said that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is experiencing a surrogate pleasure by giving farmers to prison/police stations for demanding urea bags. Telangana follows the event of the main minister against the agricultural community for the inability of its government to supply urea, he said.
Meanwhile, in Morthad, Nizamabad, another former Minister Vemula Prasanth Reddy, she said the Congress government is uncomfortable in the situation of farmers. He noted that the Congress Party brought the conditions in the state before 2014, as promised before the elections, while farmers were forced to wait in long fronts. He claimed that Congress did not realize “Rythu Rajyam”, but brought back the days of betrayal.
Mr. Reddy said that the crop of maize in some areas reaches the harvest phase without applying one dose of urea, the paddy did not obtain the application of nutrients in the soil (nitrogen in the form of urea) and one dose of urea and application after the potash mixture is also caused by Curmeric crop in this area.
