The former Australian stimulator Brett Lee had a modest reaction after the Indian double Olympic medalist Neera Chopra suggested that Lee could have been a successful javelin thrower. The conversation appeared in front of Neeri Chopra Classic 2025, when Neej, fresh from his back victory in the Paris Diamond League and Ostrava Golden Spike, was asked which cricket believed that he could excel in the javelin sport.
Neerai named LeeRecognition of Australian athleticism, strength and explosive energy from his cricket days. However, in a light reaction, Lee took his social media, shared an article from India today and reduced the compliment.
I threw the spear back on my school days, but nowhere near what Neej does and continues.
Very hard on the elbow. I admired, however, what this great athlete can do and wish him well https://t.co/fbbpkd4bj– @Brettlee_58 ( @Brettlee_58) June 30, 2025

Neeraj also shared some fun ideas in an interview and mentioned how he would like to try to throw a spear with the Indian premiere Pacer Jasprit Bumhrah. With a smile, Neera was thinking about the interesting idea of seeing Bumrah’s accuracy in the new light. The Olympic champion also admitted his wish to have “superpower” cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, which is under pressure known for its peace and mastering.
With his eyes, Javelin’s star firmly planted on Neer Chopra Classic 2025, which begins on July 5, Neera continues to move the boundaries of his potential. Neerai’s performance in the Paris Diamond League and Ostrava Golden Spike has strengthened its place as a global icon in athletics, but remains anchored when they are still trying to perfection, and another sign exceeds 90, Ether Mark.
